1. Ft Leavenworth, KS is an old army post

One summer, I spent two weeks there. One evening, i walked around the old post cemetery. You would see five graves clustered together with children ages like two to eight died in the same week in one plot with a tombstone that these were the children of Captain and Mrs Smith "died of the Scarlet Fever/Smallpox/Measles". I was depressed for quite a few days after that.
