after decades of post civil rights abuses, assassinations and the many strange fruits of cointelpro spread like jam on freedom toast,
we see universal outrage over some of the latest daily drips of police murders (remember when it was just brutality?) against people of color and economic refugees with nowhere to turn.
Screams of outrage against racism when a school administrator makes an unpleasant comment before a candid camera.
But when the racism is so big and the murders are in service to police state protected white supremacy,
ie the numerous murders of black leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr, Fred Hampton and significant figures like Tookie Williams,
public objections seem to dwindle, while FOP cheerleading meets considerable silence.
When a judge like Albert Sabo proclaims he is "gonna help them fry the ni**er"

how many people turn their blind minds against the victim of that sort of injustice? Too many. Even ONE is too many.
How many have turned their backs on this internationally renowned case?
Despite a clear history of oppression up to and including framing and killing well spoken leaders of black freedom movements,
despite years of torrential disclosures of police corruption and racism-
there still remains a deafening silence in all quarters when pro-propaganda mouthpieces are allowed to confront the truth with their empty objections and ad hominem rebuttals.
Have we, will we, ever turn that corner?
or are we too busy responding to the noise of nonsense that supplants real information in this heavily censored, misled and misdirected populace, starved for the useful information absolutely necessary to move this country and world forward?
are we beaten, or are we self-defeated?
is it easier to join them or bury heads in sand?
so many questions, with no good answers.

(9,154 posts)President Kennedy was white and privileged and he was killed. Poor white people are crapped all over by the PTB system everyday.
"Have we, will we, ever turn that corner?" Yes. We elected a black man to be President. In general, he's been a very good president, one of the better ones in history.
