He voted against the Brady bill in 1994, but has since voted to strengthen background checks.

The only position I can see him, 'evolving' on would be his Israel stance, but he wouldn't evolve towards Hillary there, because she is to the right of him on that issue.

I enjoy responses pretending to be answers... they contain almost the depth of wisdom most bumper-stickers posses.

It would be helpful to Bernie to evolve on many issues which a president is going to have to face. A president can not only dwell on the issues Bernie has stated in his platform.

I've been a Socialist all my life. No need to evolve here.

Note: I actually didn't give a shit about politics until I was about 13 and saw a bunch of kids on the school bus I was riding spit on an aged Black man and yell "NIGGER!" at him in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. My father was a Socialist and my dear old Irish granny was one. So, I was sort of born into it.

Now, I blame it on being 71 years old.

I used purposely. It shocked me then, and it's casual use still shocks me. I was 13 and from California. I had heard it there of course but not as casually as in the south. I was even more shocked when the nice, bespectacled, grey haired, teacher in my home room class in the junior high school used the same word when telling us "No niggers will ever come to this school!" It was 1957. In 1965, after I got out of the service, I joined the NAACP and SNCC.

Later, I taught employee classes on violence and used the words without **** to point out that using those kind of words to denigrate people is violence, not free speech.
