A Tribune investigation found that in Chicago, 84 percent of roadside sobriety checkpoints were scheduled in areas populated mostly by minorities while roadways in areas with more DUI-related crashes that are predominantly white are checked less often, or not at all.

I have never once seen a sobriety checkpoint.
To be fair, I'm not out much at night, and when I do go out at night, I rarely drive. But still. Not once.

They just waived me through.
Much more common in the suburbs.
