TALKING POINTS 101: NAFTA

"NAFTA has been good for America."

THE FUCK IT HAS.

PUT DOWN THE DOPE AND GET SERIOUS.

There isn't a single measure by which anyone can show how NAFTA has benefited this nation (or Mexico, for that matter)... not one.

Lowered wages, less benefits, disappearing pensions, and lastly, a continuous 20-year long TRADE DEFICIT.

If you can argue a counter-point, by all means, give it a try: I double dog dare you.

Employment (manufacturing and overall) increased during Clinton's administration and wages (manufacturing and otherwise) increased during Clinton's administration after NAFTA came into effect. When did employment and wages crash? Starting in 2001.
