what, did it turn out that Obama's not really black?

By the way, I bet that 44 year old black man bears a surprising resemblance to Karl Rove.

if the only reason you voted for him is because he's black. Sounds like you were expecting handouts because you are black. Now you know he's the President of the USA, all of it.

"I'm a 44 year old black male who voted for Obama in 08. I was fooled by a slick talking politician, and ALSO voted for him because he is black. " (emphasis added)

In your response, you said in your opening sentences:
"If you only voted for Obama just because he's Black, then that's on you. You need to look at all of the stances of a politician before voting for him or her, not just their skin color. However, there are many people who have voted AGAINST him just because he's Black, ..."

Since the origional poster didn't make it a racial thing, why should anyone change the subject and make it so?

Why not just focus upon the things that President Obama accomplished?

He was the one who made it a matter of race by simply stating that as one of his reasons for voting for Obama, not me.

he was Black. That certainly justified your response, "If you only voted for Obama just because he's Black, then that's on you. You need to look at all of the stances of a politician before voting for him or her, not just their skin color." His post certainly implied that he voted for Obama just because he was Black. His post obviously justified the comment that he needed to "look at all the stances of a politician" and "not just their skin color."

Your also right that you focused "on what Obama accomplished" if you mean, after you insulted him that you wrote about some of President Obama's accomplishments. Obviously, the way to focus upon something is to refer to it after you insult someone.

If this works for you, you'll be able to turn around a lot more thinking.

However, the whole thing seems like a sham the further details piece is nonsense, probably some freeper type trying to be slick with some old racist bullshit.

I think the best answer would be ignore. The "question" just doesn't really deserve the dignity of a real answer.
