Learned something! I was using google earth to see the area where a

relative is at Knoxville Tennessee. I was staying up fairly high for an overview of the area and there are these orange things that are churches. Must be one on every corner and some in the middle of the block. Never saw so many churches in an area in my life!
They actually have more churches that Wisconsin has taverns...and that's not easy.

Northern Georgia, and we were fascinated at all the little rectangles we saw. They were pretty much uniform in size, grouped together in clusters, and they were *everywhere*.

It took us a few minutes, but we finally figured it out. Chickenhouses.

There are a LOT of churches. I can think easily of 30 or so just in my area.
A lot of them may only have a congregation of 20--30 people, some not that many.

Betcha won't find many taverns in that same area you were looking.

its almost like it the areas local small business. I never knew there could be so many Baptist churches. Were closing Catholic Church's because of tiny congregations and the Baptists seem to be all over the place.
