mainline GOP sees Jeb as the ONLY chance in winning in 2016...all the others are clowns at this point with zero chance

And they're really the only solid GOP bloc left, given the TeaClowns' penchant for ideological purity and 1824-style government.

Libertarians? Two words - Terri Schaivo.

Wall Street? Doesn't really matter, since all the Clown Train denizens promise the same low, low taxes (We're practically giving away the public trust!!! Our prices are so low, we must be INSANE!!!)

Milennials - Puh-leeze.

He'll stay out as long as he can to grift as many suitcases of cash as possible, but with the name he's dragging around, that may not make much difference.

It's a bit early for his political obituary but it does give some insight into the relative strengths of the Bush and Clinton brands.

BTW, and Bush lll hasn't taken the press beating Hillary has...

As an aide, how do you like them Clippers?

There is only one reason I'm not a Clippers fan; I have zero interest in bball. It's the only sport I couldn't play. And by "couldn't play" I mean I can't dribble a basketball and breathe at the same time.

I am a transplanted Floridian but since I am in L A I want to see any L A team do well; Kings. Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers as long as it isn't at the expense of my long time favorite teams.

I suspect he will stick around and while money is very , very, ... important it is not always dispositive:

In 1980 John Connally, Richard Nixon's scandal-tainted treasury secretary, raised eleven million dollars, more money than any of the other candidates, including Ronald Reagan. Connally, however, received just one delegate.

In 2004 Howard Dean, the first candidate to tap the Internet for massive campaign donations, surprised the pundits by out-raising the presumed front runners in the second quarter of 2003, pulling in seven and a half million dollars. John Kerry by contrast raised just six million and the other candidates even less. On the eve of the Iowa caucus in 2004 Dean, having raised some twenty-five million dollars, was flush in money while Kerry's campaign was broke.

In 1996 Texas Sen. Phil Gramm raised almost as much money as Bob Dole. Gramm, echoing boss Mark Hanna, famously said, "I have the most reliable friend in politics and that is ready money." But it wasn't enough. Dole went on to win the nomination after the voters took a close look at Gramm and decided he wasn't presidential, no matter his millions.

David Olgilvy, the founder of Ogilvy and Mather, and hailed as the "Father Of Advertising" wrote that the best way to kill a bad product is to heavily advertise and publicize it because people will use it and find it wanting...All those candidates I cited money raised couldn't help them because the voters learned about them and didn't like them...

The Bushes are associated with unpopular wars and recessions...That's a problem that no amount of money may be able to fix.
