"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit."

Some have attributed the above quote, or some variation thereof, to the old drunk comedian, W.C. Fields.

That's mostly what the politicians in Washington are doing to the American people at this time. They are getting ready to pass the TPP, even as they baffle the people with bullshit. It's not for the little guy, but they don't want to tell you that... It's for the big banks and foreign operations and defense contractors...

Those politicians in Washington think they know more than you do. A few may be naive but most know exactly what they are doing. Their plan is to slip this Michaelangelo of a turd past the scrutiny of the people's representatives, with just enough "bi-partisanship" on each side to make it look like a consensus, and done for the benefit of the people at large.

the Bailout, because it was already a fait accompli.

But this? This is his creation. Guaranteed to leave a sour note in the people's minds. The corporations and the speaking tours post presidency, not so much.

5. This will be the death blow to what is left of the middle class.

And it is all by the design of the banksters and the billionaire class, the only ones who will benefit.

The TPP is Obama's post-presidency retirement insurance. He saw how lavishly the Clintons were rewarded for their water-carrying on behalf of the plutocrats and wants in on that action himself. You know damn well he ihas no intention of going out and building Habitat for Humanity homes with Jimmy Carter.

financial disaster for our Nation. Appears the Monied Elite think this is a done deal by recent stories coming out of Mexico India and other South East Asian Countries, about infrastructure and plant and equipment being preplanned or already in the pipeline. Example of would be the likes of Ford and GM doing new plants or additions in Mexico and India. GE doing a plant in India, need I say the fix is in. Bottom line is,not everyone is cut out to be a Techie, will will always need employment all the Millions of others.

the destruction of the middle class started with Nixon and the wage freeze garbage, and the next act was Raygun and PATCO. This POS will leave our Nation with a permanent underclass of tens of millions. You can already see what the end product will look like in what we are dealing with in today's environment. Every State is mandated by law to have balanced budgets, now stating the fact, how will you be able to keep services operating if you loose revenue do to low or no wages, there will be cuts in order to balance the budget. And there goes the neighborhood. England in the 1880's,enjoy a Christmas Tale. Many Tiny Tim's.

Caribbean Islands. Here is one that very few will ever tell you about, and that is the huge number of R/V Parks that are home for tens of thousands of older retired folks that have lost everything and are living in a R/V just on step form being homeless. The other travesty is young families living the same way with little hope of moving back to a real home or apartment. Yes there are many who live a nomadic R/V lifestyle, and they can well afford it. But,there are tens of thousands that are living hand to mouth on a daily basis.

There are two economies, and the one most of us live in is not the one that matters to those who make trade deals.

12. I think maybe their long-term goal is to find some type of equilibrium in world-wide wages...
Sun May 10, 2015, 05:42 PM

That means that some wages would have to go down and some wages would have to go up.

At some point, they would reach an equilibrium.

You will have to decide for yourself if your wages are going up or down??
