This TPA stuff has me all nervous

All Democrats defeating a Democatic President's bill. This doesn't happen.

But it's not going to go away. All McConnell has to do is get permission from only god knows to put the money stuff in with the rest of the bill, and we're back on the roller coaster.

It's not enough to have major earthquakes, volcanos, floods, tornadoes, snow, draught, deflated footballs, Putin, Saudi Arabia, ebola coming back in one patient, ISIS, Iran quitting Syria, No. Korea, and I can't remember what all, and Congress has to dump this one on us too. And on top of that, Letteman is leaving when we need him most.

I can't afford a secretary to keep track of all this stuff.

1. It was the same scenario when NAFTA passed under Clinton. Dems opposed Clinton & GOP for it.

Why Democrats Soured on Trade

Two decades ago, President Bill Clinton needed Republican support to win a bitter battle over the North American Free Trade Agreement. He also garnered 40 percent of congressional Democrats, including almost half the party's senators.

2. Nah. This should make you happy. It's the first battle of the war, but

we won it. And it is significant. It gives us time, it keeps the President on the defense and denies him the momentum he needed. And if McConnell backs down on currency manipulation and it does make it into the tpa, it brings the tpp negotiations to a halt.

this is all kinds of good news.

will be voting for the TPP but they want 3 other bills voted on at the same time. McConnell wants to attach one bill to it but not the other two. The dems have put word out to not be a "cheap date" and hold firm until they get all 3 bills.

It's a tactic to kill the tpp.
