6. What is the underlining reason for his run?

What is he trying to get out of it? I mean if he hits 1 percent of the primary vote, I'd be shocked. There must be some other reason? Do he want a job in the cabinet? This is just weird!

He got by (like W) by being governor during the Clinton economy when no wrong could sink your governing.

7. Who is George Patak?

Do you mean former loser and governor Pataki, or do you mean the Klingon term for slave: "Pahtak?"
I prefer the latter, because that's what he is, a slave to the business class.
He has a successful law firm, wtf does he need to run for president for. Does he again have delusions of grandeur? Is he once again a legend in his own mind? He can never win, even if he ran as a Democrat!
