The aperture through which we all must pass is small. To survive as a species will take concerted, cooperative action that seems impossible until some Event is upon us. This is all very serious business, these politics, this discussion. Every molecule matters. All it takes for entropy to triumph is for good people to fail to reasonably discourse toward the purpose of working together in the end.
