(44,173 posts)Not that I would cry one tear if he were to be executed (or killed in prison), but a death penalty ruling will only mean more years and years of appeals and pain for the families.
And I want this guy (who's name I cannot spell or pronounce) to suffer in prison.

It's down to the mitigating factors to save him, I think. Channel 7 commentator seems to think it's DEATH, that the aggravated items outweigh the mitigating factors.
If that's the case, the long appeals process begins.

(10,952 posts)to determine if a capital crime was committed. For example - disregard of life, committing an act with the knowledge that people will be injured, and so on. I am not a lawyer and this is the best I can explain it.
Just heard on MSNBC, they are going over the mitigating factors.

Well at least he won't have to endure the 'torture' of Supermax.
