Not that I would cry one tear if he were to be executed (or killed in prison), but a death penalty ruling will only mean more years and years of appeals and pain for the families.

And I want this guy (who's name I cannot spell or pronounce) to suffer in prison.

Only moments away......death penalty is still in play...

It's down to the mitigating factors to save him, I think. Channel 7 commentator seems to think it's DEATH, that the aggravated items outweigh the mitigating factors.

If that's the case, the long appeals process begins.

to determine if a capital crime was committed. For example - disregard of life, committing an act with the knowledge that people will be injured, and so on. I am not a lawyer and this is the best I can explain it.

Just heard on MSNBC, they are going over the mitigating factors.

Jurors found that his attorneys did provide 3 mitigating factors. I don't know what the other 2 factors are.
