Bill ("I don't care what I said, listen to me now!" O'Reilly is saying: "Imagine anyone taking Media Matters seriously! . . . If The New York Times wanted to hear what I had to say about the nature of the poor, they could have come to me. . . . Hell, I'll gladly stand by my words, but imagine, a web-site quoting those same words back to me! . . . How's anyone supposed to be believe that???"

(182,574 posts)Especially on the radio. When we once again were proved to be that out wrong or a story developed that we had said something really embarrassing about we just told the listeners/viewers a complete lie. We doubled it up declaring that we had always had that position. Unless someone was a really devout follower they would have no idea that we were spewing nothing but nonsense and lies. If they were that devout they wouldn't let it register in their minds because then their whole investment in us would clearly have been a waste. Now we have these organizations that look through the stored media and expose us. This is clearly wrong. It's like not fully believing everything your abusive parents told you. That's tonight's word.
Now after 25 minutes of mindless repetition of the same lies you've heard throughout the day we will have my soft core panel on to tell me how great I am while you doze off with a tiny percentage of wood developing thinking about my half assed T&A show not 3 feet away from your wife.
