1. "pushing" - as in supporting him? I hardly think he is doing that.

2. Geist,as a member of the Lucky Sperm club, is doing his best

to make his poor father, a terrific intellectual, feel badly about sending him to Private Schools.

He is Dan Quayle with a real education...in other words, a person who has had intellectual and social taxidermy performed upon his body. What we used to call "a real ASShole"...

If anything, it was an embarrassment to the state of West Virginia.

Geist was going after the slapstick comedy of it, IMO...
