won't vote for her if she is the nominee.
But they demand that she run her campaign by their whims.

(68,644 posts)And when what few she does answer sound like this:
A pair of Washington Post reporters spotted her outside of an unannounced event and asked about campaign finance reform. The answers weren't substantive.
According to the Post, she said "We do have a plan. We have a plan for my plan."

Note, the above source, KPBS, is a noted RW source, it's evil and cannot be trusted.

(37,748 posts)I imagine many people find it difficult to see a typical political campaign... and further rationalize their inability to see the obvious as someone else's fault.
Bless their little hearts... they are indeed, special little guys who could use a pat on the head.

This may be the best way for her to campaign. It does seem so familiar though, this idea of speaking to the important people and letting them pass the word on down to the lower masses. It will come to me I'm sure.

(68,644 posts)Too busy to address the little people.
She'll have teams of spokespeople to talk to us little people.
And that's the perfect cover, she can claim never to have said a particular thing, someone else said it.

(14,255 posts)The good news - Hillary has hundreds of advisers and THEY will tell her how to run her campaign. They did so well last time, as I recall.

(146,262 posts)None ever ask my opinion about how to campaign. I suspect that same thing can be said by everyone who posts on DU. I watch and listen. One thing I never do, though, is to attack a potential Democratic candidate for President. That's destructive to the goal of electing Democrats in the general election. I won't do that.

(146,262 posts)I've been around politics for a long, long time, so I've learned how to do that.
You forgot to mention calling criticism or disagreement "hating."

(62,325 posts)if a candidate is asking for our support, we ask them to tell us why we should support them.
One thing I will not do is remain silent when a candidate is not representative of the people whose votes they need in order to win.
Asking a candidate to state their positions on issues has never, at least among Democrats, been views as 'attacking them'.
If I were running for office I would expect to be asked questions.
I'm sure most candidates do.
Then it's up to them whether to answer those questions or not. And if they view that as an 'attack' they should not be running for political office.

(32,780 posts)If it were a republican refusing to tell the American people what they wanted to do you'd be upset about it wouldn't you.
I have repeatedly said
I WILL VOTE FOR THE DEM NOMINEE AS I HAVE FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE. Is that clear to you now. It doesn't excuse the fact that she isn't talking. What does she gave to hide?

They demand that she run her campaign by their whims, or they won't vote for her and she will not be the nominee.
That's more true. Not entirely true, but more.

(30,481 posts)She is an extremely popular politician. Her campaign kickoff is going extremely well. She is listening to the people. She has great stands on an extremely wide variety of issues. I think she is doing pretty well. I think she has some of the best advisors in the world. And the best part, she is listening to their demands, she just doesn't bow down to them. Only thing is a lot of them are completely foolish. Take the media for example. According to some here, what she is doing is awful. Many of us are smarter than that. We have paid attention to the msm and understand they are a force against progress. If another candidate did what she was doing, he would be applauded by the same group. Unfortunately, being a member of congress doesn't afford him the same luxury even if he wanted to.
