Romney remembers the high school incident slightly differently

Mitt Romney, when reached for comment on the Washington Post story responded with, "I actually remember what happened like it was yesterday, and the Post got some major facts wrong. Not surprising considering its liberal bias.

"As I remember it, I was espousing some conservative values while at recess, when a pack of boys led by a strikingly handsome dark haired student--I think he was Mormon, actually--held me down and cut off my long, glorious blonde hair.

"So in reality, I was the victim. Have I told you how I saved the auto industry?"

Campaign spokesman Gillespie, when reached to verify this account, said, "Well yes, Romney was very Fabio-esque, but still a young republican, who attracted the conservative vote when running for student president. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go drink until I can no longer feel my sense of morality dying."
