Does anyone here think it's a good idea to place more power

in the hands of large corporate interests?

That's the bottom line with the TPP and the TTIP. They enhance and extend so called corporate rights, not just because more corporations will have access to it, but because of things like extended drug patents which mean fewer generics, and SOPA provisions which have been included in the I/P chapter. There are other reasons to oppose the TPP, but for me it boils down to increased corporate power.

The TPP isn't the end of the world. It's just a deal that continues the dangerous trend of shifting more power t corporate entities.
