Equally, prosecutors will say and do anything within the legal limits of the law (most of the time) to convict the person on trial.

(5,523 posts)I read somewhere recently that almost no police are ever convicted of murder or any violence for that matter, no matter how convincing the evidence. There has to be a very independent prosecution for those cases.

(5,455 posts)And don't believe everything you read either. Police officers convicted of crimes rarely make anything more then the local news, while some of th the acquittals in the more controversial cases make national news
