People just don't get it. I see lots of students worn down before they even get a chance to try.

people should just borrow $20,000 from their parents to start a business, and his wife, Queen Ann, complaining that they were so poor when first married that they couldn't throw dinner parties and even had to sell of some of their stocks a bit at a time-- not all of their stocks, of course, and not much at a time.

They have no clue.

But you can work your way up. It's exhausting and difficult. And many won't make it no matter how hard they try.

Of course it's even more difficult in a socialist system. See China.

they're just a little better off than their parents--but they're in the "new middle class," the post-Reagan facade that masks the fact that the wage-earning middle class is dead, killed off by the 401k class

and since they have less income than the white tie strata they're very vocal against the slightest tax on Wall Street (though I do know that no amount is ever enough for the white tie types and they can get very paranoid)
