Bernie Sanders warns Democratic rivals for presidency: don't underestimate me.

Bernie Sanders warns Democratic rivals for presidency: don't underestimate me
The Vermont senator – a ‘badass leftwinger’ – may scoop up Warren supporters and his personal style is likely to play well in neighbouring New Hampshire

...........

He rejects the notion that he’s simply in the race to shape the debate.

“Hillary Clinton is a candidate, I am a candidate,” Sanders said. “I suspect there will be other candidates. The people in this country will make their choice.”

...........

If Sanders is the underdog, that’s fine by him. During the 1970s, he lost four statewide elections as a third-party candidate, and then narrowly defeated a Democratic incumbent in 1981 to become Burlington’s mayor.

...........

The lessons, he said, are clear: “Don’t underestimate me.”

“I’m not going to have a super Pac in this campaign,” Sanders said. “I don’t go to fundraisers where millionaires sit around the room and say here’s a million, here’s $5m for your super Pac. That’s not my life. That’s not my world. And I think the American people are saying that is not what our politics should be about.”

That is just how I feel.. period... His running as an independent for the Democratic position just does not work for me... Gov. O'Malley has pretty much the same positions.. and is a declared Democrat.. willing to take the heat that comes with that.. I have just been down this road before.. not going to do it again..

...In 2008, Clinton and Obama got roughly the same number of votes (18 million). If you're claiming Sanders will be as popular and as well-organized as Obama, you'll need to provide evidence.

Add to that, Clinton beat Obama (perceived as more progressive) in WI, OH, PA, MI and FL. How will Sanders win any of these in a General Election.

I can't wait to vote for Bernie, here in Florida.
I voted for Hillary, last time there was a Pres. Primary, by the way. Even if it was just a gesture. Lot of info absorbed since then.
