BATON ROUGE (The Borowitz Report) In the aftermath of Irish voters legalizing gay marriage, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has used his emergency powers to ban all Irish products from the state.
The sweeping trade sanctions will prevent popular Irish products, such as Jameson whiskey and Guinness Extra Stout, from being sold in Louisiana.
Jindal explained that breaking off trade with Ireland was necessary to protect the sanctity of marriage in Louisiana.
Every time someone takes a sip of Guinness, a part of straight marriage dies, he said.

OP
I think satire is almost impossible in his case. He'd do it if he could get away with it.

Of course with Republicans it's getting hard to distinguish between satire and reality.

Lucky Charms: Diabolically Evil?

Is it just me or does Lucky look incredulously villainous in this picture? Given the eerie shadow trees in the background and his half-mad, half-lustful stare at the contrastingly bright and spring-like pot of lucky charms, what else can I make of this scene?
Maybe that is why kids are always chasing after him for these lucky charms. He perhaps is a criminal, who has done unspeakable acts to obtain these charms. I now understand it; Lucky is not a good guy, and dont confuse his teasing of those kids to find him and his? Lucky charms, he is laughing at the injustice of stealing what perhaps belongs to them.
There is a lesson somewhere here, but I have no idea exactly how to respond to Lucky. I agree with the good taste of the cereal, but can I accept the man behind them. Am I like Lucky behind a bowl of cereal waiting anxiously to eat like a spider working towards a fly. The picture on the box is a warning; that with great tasting cereal comes a great responsibility not to eat the whole box for your self. The lesson is to share the great things with others, not be a miser of anything that is special like your friendship, your affection, your toys, and your cereal as well.

I'm sure these have been banned, as well:

Jindal has taken to chugging Stolichnaya by the case and encourages all in Louisiana to do the same.
