Texas Gov Greg Abbott presser today

Did anyone see Abbott's flood presser today? I saw a little and from what I could tell Abbott could barely put two coherent, intelligible sentences together. He just rambled on and on and on......and they elected this vacuous hand puppet to run their state?

All I could think of was the line from Blazing Saddles. That was one of the finest examples of frontier gibberish I've ever heard.
