Whenever I'm dressed cool
My parents put up a fight
(Uh huh, uh huh)
And if I'm hot shot
Mom will cut my hair at night
(Uh huh, uh huh)

And in the morning
I'm short of my identity
(Uh huh, uh huh)
I scream Mom and Dad
Why can't I be who I wanna be?
(Uh huh, uh huh)
To be

I just wanna be myself
And I want you to love me for who I am
I just wanna be myself
And I want you to know, I am my hair

I've had enough, this is my prayer
That I'll die livin' just as free as my hair
I've had enough, this is my prayer
That I'll die livin' just as free as my hair
I've had enough, I'm not a freak
I just keep fightin' to stay cool on the streets
I've had enough, enough, enough
And this is my prayer, I swear
I'm as free as my hair

5. This was done because Willard Rawmoney, the Governor's son decided on his own

that Lauber's hairstyle was not right. And Willard had the moral right and authority to physically assault a classmate with a deadly weapon and GET AWAY WITH IT.

Now he bullies adults:

“I like those fancy raincoats you bought. Really sprung for the big bucks.” -3/6/2012

“I’m not sure about these cookies. Did you make those cookies? You didn’t, did you? No. No. They came from the local 7-Eleven bakery or wherever.”

Obama to bullying victims: I know what it’s like

http://www.suntimes.com/news/nation/4274951-418/obama-to-bullying-victims-i-know-what-its-like.html

Most of these stories are accompanied by a photograph of Obama with a tear rolling down his face:

Obama admits he was bullied

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/148759-obama-admits-he-was-bullied?tmpl=component&print=1&page=

I'm not going to post the really hateful articles that the Reichwing has put out. They see it as a character flaw and that makes him indecisive. I don't. It's a learning experience. He decided to do something to rise above his circumstances.

Note though, that they made sure to put the word 'admit' as if it's something to be ashamed of, which is blaming the victim.

Obama overcame, didn't turn into a bully.

8. I think Romney is starting to suffer from Bush's "obviously" syndrome
Thu May 10, 2012, 11:39 PM
May 2012

Back in the Bush years, there were threads here from time to time about how whenever Bush said "obviously," it meant he was probably lying. The most notable example was when he said he'd seen the first plane hit the World Trade Center because there was "obviously" a television on in the school corridor.

And now here's Romney saying, "If anybody was hurt by that or offended by it, obviously I apologize."

In other words, he doesn't apologize at all but wants people to think he has.

But there's a second lie in his remarks when he says, ""I had no idea what that individual's sexual orientation might be. Going back to the 1960s, that wasn't something we all discussed or considered."

I remember during my freshman year of college, which was 1963-64, sitting around a table in the dorm dining room and discussing how it was rumored that there were homosexual graffiti in the men's restroom at the library and that it was common knowledge that a fairly high percentage of the male students were gay but that nobody seemed to know of any gay female students. And one person piped up and repeated a second-hand story that there had been a lesbian couple in the dorm five years earlier.

Which goes to show how naive we all were -- but it also shows that the subject very definitely was being discussed and considered. And it if was being discussed by college freshmen, you've got to believe it was also being discussed by prep school seniors.
