I can't help but feel during the part about Wall Street and the CEOs whose income equals that of all kindergarten teachers, combined, that she is triangulating Bernie's 1% message.

Now, please Hillary supporters, I'm not trying to be obtuse when I say that. It's just that Hillary has this Wall Street-loving reputation we always see and hear about her. And, I have to admit that I'm a little short on knowledge of what Hillary's view of Wall Street was before today. I can't recall what she has said and if she has said similar things in the past as she said today. Can someone please elaborate on Hillary's relevant past comments regarding CEO incomes and Wall Street greed?

I have no other issues from this address that is about to wrap up as I conclude this post. Indeed, I am glad I watched.

Jesus addressed it two thousand years ago. I don't believe any candidate owns that issue.

Many of you are well enough off that the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.

-Hillary Clinton
2007

I actually like that formulation...You can keep most of what you earn but certainly not all and the difference between most and all is what government is going to take for the common good because in the absence of government you would have nothing.
