Yes, that is a media induced trend. I hate them for it, they think it's a joke. freshwest May 2012 #15
Yes, but if Mittens was made of scissors, you know he'd love to hurt someone with them! freshwest May 2012 #16

You've clearly cut my analogy to shreds! Mitt is clearly more of a Lord of the Flies choir boy.

trying to run over the poor little orphan Shirley Temple...he's like Scut Farkus pelting Ralph in the face with snowballs...he's like Nellie Oleson snubbing Laura and Mary for wearing homespun dresses...he's like Nelson Muntz pounding Bart on the playground...he's like Yertle the turtle forcing everyone to build him a throne...he's Eddie Haskell complimenting Mrs. Cleaver on her dress while socking Beaver behind her back...

From childhood, we have been taught to despise the bullies. Mitt, however, wanted to be one of them. The people who grow up to be bank presidents and church deacons and corrupt politicians...

His history of corporate looting was just a more legal way of killing people. And he always laughed about it, like he did about the auto works plant being closed down and making communities scatter like that. It was a real pleasure for him.

I remember older people who owned businesses, who operated more like Jimmy Stewart's role and they would never do this. My dad was that type, used his connections to help the poor and didn't leave much except a lot of people who loved him for helping. I'm hoping he isn't looking down at this.

Nothing wrong with your creation, I liked it, it's just that Johnny Depp was bullied by exactly the type of guy that Mitt and Rush and the rest of these pigs running roughshod are doing.

Out loud even. Spot the fuck on. Damn that is good.
I'm not much of a movie buff but I have to say that Edward Scissorhand was one of the better movies if for no other reason than it brought to front and center Johnny Depp.
Looking at his Wiki page I see that he was around long before that movie. Its just I hadn't heard of him before then.
