10 of the craziest things Ann Coulter said about immigrants in recent interview

Conservative pin-up Ann Coulter made a stop on the Fusion network to discuss her book “Adios, America”. During the interview she went back and forth with host Jorge Ramos and at one point compared the threat of ISIS with the threat of being killed by someone from Mexico. The focus of her stop was mainly to discuss immigration reform, but she ended up leaving the audience with a slew of shocking views that appeared to show Coulter really doesn’t like Mexicans, or whatever immigrant threat she thinks it destroying the country.

She also bluntly denied a hug in a show of “humanity” to an audience member who said she is an undocumented immigrant (watch below).

1. "Very easy to avoid being killed by ISIS.... If you don’t want to be killed by a Mexican there’s nothing I can tell you."
2. "There are cultures that are obviously deficient, and if they weren’t deficient you wouldn’t be sitting in America interviewing me, I’d be sitting in Mexico."
3. "You fled that culture because it is a cri…..There are a lot of problems with that culture. Hopefully it can be changed, but we can share our culture with other nations without bringing all of their people here."
4. "When you bring the people here you bring their culture here. That includes honor killings."
5. "It includes uncles raping their nieces."
6. "It includes dumping litter all over."
7. "It includes dumping litter all over."
8. "It includes paying bribes to government officials."
9. "America is the best in the world and we are about to lose it."
10. "No country has ever had the respect for women that anglo America does, and that is going out the door."

1. #10

It's going out the door because of white Christian men who back reactionary legislation to curtail women's rights. And Latinos aren't fleeing their culture, they're fleeing corrupt, inept states that are largely backed by our government. Deficient? Oh geez, I can't even with this chick.

4. Time Was When, But Maybe I'm Imagining It

Time was when (but maybe I'm imagining it) when Texas Hispanics would have been so angered by Coulter's tripe that they would have responded by locating Coulter's pet politicians and voting them out of office.

I realize that I'm bitter at the electorate's behavior. I fear that I expect Texas right-wingers to throw reason and thought for the future aside when they vote for crazy nuts in their primaries.

But I am bewildered and disheartened by the indolence and lack of self-respect of tens of thousands, no, HUNDREDS of thousands of potential Texas voters who are too apathetic in the face of vituperation to go to the small bother of registering to vote, then using either early voting or the chance to vote on Election Day to respond to their tormentors by cutting their tormentors' political creatures' careers short at the ballot box.

I can't help but think of a bumper sticker I like. The caption is "There is some #### that we won't eat." Yet the response from the Latino electorate in Texas to Coulter's remarks seems to be its usual torpor. Surely responding to such calumnies by political action isn't just an Anglo-American thing. Isn't it?

I used to be more hopeful about the political future of the Lone Star State. My hope is withering away.

5. Her book sales must be going QUITE badly -- she's deployed her heavy artillery

“You know, going into this weekend, the media was consumed with stories, Americans have to be on the lookout for ISIS attacks and terror attack expected, and oh, shark attacks. I will bet you by the end of the weekend, more Americans will have been killed by Mexicans than by ISIS or by sharks.”

-- Ann Coulter, ReverbPress.com

"Down, girl! DOWN!!!"
