One of the biggest disappointments with Obama is that not one of the crooks on Wall Street has been charged with anything for the scam that damn near (and still may) ruin the world economy. Dimon would be a nice choice.

Since Obama has come out for marriage equality, my next wish is that some captain of finance gets indicted before the election.

Prosecuting their golfing pals on the other hand is beyond the pale, that would get a swift and merciless reaction.

who helped crash the US economy. he runs JPMorgan Chase (too big to fail), has spent the last several years whining about how hard it is being a banker, no one loves us...his wiki page, the one i just found is really short. he should be doing criminal time as well as facing civil charges with his boards. his company is pretty big in columbus, so this is really gonna hurt locally.

Left parasites like Dimon in charge, didn't even bother to extract worthless promises to behave in the future, let alone enact any meaningful regulatory reform, and here they are again, fucking up big time.

I guess the only available course of action is to do it all again. I just hope we don't hurt Mr. Dimon's fee-fees like we did last time.

Don't worry. He has taken care of himself. He will pass any losses on to his small-time, to-him-anonymous investors.

Jamie Dimon will, as usual, take care of himself and his own, make a big show of about his sufferings and come out, psychopath as before, on top of the material world.

Jamie Dimon -- master of the satanic world.

Last year, while touring support facilities in Florida, Dimon ran across somebody sending a fax and asked them what they were doing. When the employee indicated they were faxing some documents, he replied: "we still use fax?". Of course banking, like a lot of document intensive businesses, is moving to paperless documentation as much as possible. However, there are many documents that require signatures and so forth, so it'll be a long time before paper disappears. Dimon apparently had no clue.

Actually read that story in a Chase newsletter. I did a brief stint there, couldn't get out fast enough.

New Rule

Don’t bother asking JPMorgan how it accumulated all these losses. That information is proprietary, as if the taxpayers who bailed out the bank in 2008 don’t have any business knowing. Here’s an idea for a new rule: If a too-big-to-fail bank can’t disclose what its trading desk is doing for fear of blowing itself up, then the bank shouldn’t be allowed to do it.

It’s not often that a huge company calls an emergency teleconference on short notice to discuss an intra-quarter trading loss that’s equivalent to only 1 percent of shareholder equity. So when a Deutsche Bank AG stock analyst named Matt O' Connor asked Dimon why the company had disclosed it at all, the answer was bound to be revealing.

“It could get worse, and it’s going to go on for a little bit unfortunately,” Dimon replied. The meaning was clear. Worse could mean disastrous.
