CNN is doing a new documentary...

Remember the CNN documentary, "The Sixties?"

On June 11th, they start a new one, "The Seventies."

Myself, I remember far more of the 70's than I did the 60's.
(I turned 10 in 1970.)

Incidentally, their "I Love the 70s" show and its commentators were saw awful that I flat-out hated John Fuglesang until he later demonstrated his genius for spot-on political snark.

3. Disco was just one type of music. IMO the 70's were the golden era of rock...

Until cocaine ruined it at the end of the decade.

4. Don't forget "Star Wars" began in the 70's.

The Star Trek movies began in the 70's, and the 70's was the Gold Age for singer-songwriters like Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, many more.
