Early Settlers by Frank Cassara.
Amazing. We just happen to be celebrating another great muralist, Diego Rivera, and his wife, Frida Kahlo, here in Detroit this year.
Even more amazing is how much art and culture were valued by and for the people, before tee vee.

(55,745 posts)This is a blockbuster show with many of Rivera and Kahlo's masterpieces on loan from other museums and private collections, making this a can't miss thing. People are in town from all over...

Squandered Opportunities...That will make a great title for a history of these times (assuming there will still be people around who write and read histories in the future).
