8. me too but i had to go with the pelicans . . . one of my favorite subjects.

they are all great pics.

i need to watch the photo forum and enter some pics. i keep forgetting and wildlife is my preference.

25. I go for the pelicans too. Such a hard picture to capture...can't beat it!

I realize the turtle was beautiful but much easier to capture...if you're in the water.
The Puffins make a beautiful scene...makes me want to paint them. The bath buddies are also a favorite along with the bears. Those racoons must be hard to capture! Oh hell...I like them all!

Wished I could have gotten a picture - but this is pretty close. All so beautiful - the puffin, the bluebirds, all of them.

6. I love the raccoons

But I had to go with the bluebirds. They are just so beautiful and precious in their bath.

All of them are awesome, though. I love the Llama, too!

They are all camelids, however, so it can be confusing It's a specific Family that includes Camels and Llamas.

7. I love the turtle photo and I don't know why. Then I saw that so many others did too.

There's something eerily symbolic about it.

12. It was hard to decide

I was torn between "Shooting the Breeze" and "Ascendance", but I had to vote for "Ascendance". The colors and the play of light on the subject was what won me over. But it was close - ask me again tomorrow and I might go the other way.

17. I was torn between Bath Buddies and the snow birds photo...

I think both of them are amazing, but Bath Buddies did it for me because the colors are just amazing and the photo spoke to me.

Everyone did an amazing job here. I wish I could take such wonderful photos.

Difficult to choose a favorite, but I love the motion and seamlessness of the birds and grass of "Birds of a Feather."

31. I like the puffin because of the composition of the color, the two perfect bouquets

of daisies, & the location of the bird. He seems to be standing on the edge of a cliff or near a shoreline.

In "Ascending", it's the fact that the tortoise is gravitating toward the beam of light that is awesome, as well as the details of the tortoise's skin captured by the camera.

For cuteness, I especially liked "Bath Buddies" (beautiful color, too), "Guard Duty", & "Say What?".

They're all good; it's hard to pick one.

That's an amazing mix of perspective, focus, and lighting.
I don't know how anyone could capture the perfect image of a living and moving animal.

44. These are all fantastic photos. It was very hard to choose. I believe the light distribution,

balance, and the very clear detail is what made me choose "Ascension". You can just feel the determination of the turtle gliding up through the water.
