(81,565 posts)I followed the instructions. It's easy. We have a very dear Vice President. I hate to see him sad. He's already had plenty of sad in his life.

(5,795 posts)Think what you may of VP Joe Biden, but he has endured more than his share of personal tragedy. Think what you my of the ACA (a.k.a. Obamacare):you might think it was a sellout that falls short of single payer;or you may feel that you don't want the State involved in your health; or you may love it. Joe fought for it, and as a result, millions have access to healthcare that didn't have it before, and well-woman visits and annual physicals are now a co-pay free portion of health plans. How many, do you suppose, will be saved from a death from cancer due to screening and early detection because they can now get routine physicals. Joe helped fight for that. It won't bring Beau back, but it's something for him and Jill to look to with justified pride. Beau couldn't be saved, but perhaps his actions helped to save others.
