Tim Carney plays the RW 'how dare you talk about this thing when there are important issues to discuss' but that isn't how it works when republicans have their teeth in some meaty non story about their enemies.

Trying to have an actual discussion about Romney's past and being a bully and this guy won't stop with the 'oh please this is so long ago we need to talk about the economy' blah blah blah 'obama's a failure' blah blah.

if you`re Bill Clinton in 1998, not if you`re Mittens in 2012. Then it`s the economy, stupid! Character`s off limits, beneath his dignity shouldn`t even have to be talking about it. The nerve, when we have so many more pressing issues to discuss!

They also lied about John Kerry's genuine heroism because of what it really says of his character. Those are more extreme than not considering if character is an issue for a Democrat it is an issue for a Republican.

Of course Republicans conveniently forget that just a week ago, the Romney campain and Ann Romney in particular had a string of interviews in which they referenced Romney's high school pranks and hijinks trying to mold an image of Romney as a fun-loving jokester and prankster who isn't the stiff, boring, uncharismatic robot that we see on our TV.

"This is the boy that I knew I still look at him as the boy that I knew in high school when he was playing all the jokes and really just being crazy pretty crazy and so there's a wild and crazy man in there."

The Romney campaign raised the issue. They invited us to look into his high school years. They walked right into this fiasco. Now that it no longer reflects a positive image, they want to talk about something else.

look fat. I wonder what fashion consultant told her to buy that. It's absolutely awful! She is a rather feminine woman. That tee-shirt is completely not her.

Can't resist the fashion comment. It's off subject, but then I get the feeling that the tee-shirt is a symbol of the fact that the Romneys never seem to be themselves. It's as if they know that what they are, who they really are, could never get him elected.

What is more, their ideas and personalities are way off-topic in terms of what America needs to discuss and who we need for our president.

When he accepted the invitation, he knew what the discussion was going to be about. But as usual, the repigs want to hijack the interview and squeeze in as many of their current talking points as possible, and Tamron was having none of it.

It was awesome. She is even more beautiful when she is livid.

Romney is stuck in a hard place right now, a dangerous place to be. On one hand, he needs to swing back to the middle or he risks losing the independents and moderates. On the other hand, if he does swing back to far, the extreme right, which already isn't particularly fond of him will make life difficult on him this election.

So naturally, the Romney camp wants to focus on economy, well their version of the economy at least. He is essentially putting all his eggs in one basket which is going to increasingly hurt him as the economy continues to improve.
