6. Using "GoFundMe" no less. . .
Seriously, these days using "GoFundMe" has become the 21st century equivalent of arson/insurance fraud.

11. Thing is, though, we're now seeing too many examples of abuse. . .
. . .in GoFundMe or Kickstarter. . .which in the past have affected regular brick-and-mortar charities.
Let the donor beware. ![]() |

9. I'm pretty certain he can't use those donations for political purposes
1. The people donating haven't authorized its use for political purposes.
2. Some of the donors may actually like McCain 3. I think there's a law 4. Just goes to show, every idiot and their side kick wants to get into politics as a single issue candidtate. 5. Political campaigns donations are tax deductable, and go fund me donation are not. He would have screwed all of those donors out of their deduction. |

12. Looks like it was pulled. Can someone say 'fraud'?
There was no danger, there were no threats, the 1.6 billion Muslims of the world kept doing their business, so he did not get what he wanted. And sometimes, when you don't get what you want, when the world does not bend to your posturing, a person can accept it or they can reject reality and substitute their own.
