ROMAYOR - When Liberty County sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call for a man shooting at his wife on a lone country road 70 miles northeast of Houston, they knew he was armed and dangerous.
But they didn't expect him to charge out of his trailer with a ballistic helmet, body armor - including advanced ceramic plates, able to stop high-powered rifle bullets - and two semi-automatics, complete with an extra drum of ammunition.
"I don't recognize your authority," Kevin Boney allegedly told deputies before a tense standoff that had officers crouching behind their patrol cars for nearly 90 minutes while the 34-year-old spewed anti-government vitriol.
"You can't arrest me," yelled Boney, a self-described "warrant officer" in the Texas Militia. "I don't recognize your laws. You can take my guns from my cold dead body."

(81,192 posts)Just consider:
Total anarchy!
No organized government worth anything, or with anything to say about anything!
No one in charge - ANYWHERE!
A tiny cadre of the 1% - pirates and warlords who have all the money and power and control everything!
Millions of poor, sick, starving, homeless, displaced refugees!
All the guns you can eat - unregulated, certainly unregistered, and EVERYWHERE!
Sounds like paradise for the teabaggers, doesn't it?
Sounds like that's what they're pushing us toward, here in America. They don't see it, but it's as plain as the greed in their non-existent hearts.

(593 posts)That result is not an accident or something due to incompetence; it is a carefully orchestrated plan by the right wing to dissolve what they can of the government. Anything they can't dissolve they corrupt to the point it stops functioning. So their tagline that the government has failed is a completely intentional result. But they blame the people who actually want to fix the mess they caused. So the result are these desperate poor saps who end up being oppressed with no opportunities to sustain themselves because of the right wing policies.

(23,664 posts)The Wall Street people and the Mitt Romney wing of the republican party may get all this anti government talk started but they really aren't anti government themselves. They just want the government to make THEM richer. What they really want is to stir up people like this fool to scare the shit out of the elements within government that want to help the people instead of the wealthy.
He's of no further use to them now and he can rot in jail as far as they care.
