(14,449 posts)I guess everything will be thrown at Berney including the kitchen sink. Well he is strong and can take it. I am for Hillary but I find this unnecessary.

(130,447 posts)should be no more relevant than the fact that Hillary's husband got sucked as U.S. president.

(7,906 posts)Wall Street Banksters.
Everyday there is more and more crap posted here about HRC that is nothing more than right wing talking points.
Everyday they are debunked, and yet a new clown posts the same spin the next day.
If people here want to bash Clinton unfairly, over and over, I say this is fair game as well. I've been polite, I have not criticized Senator Sanders or any other candidate, yet it seems to me that any crap about HRC can been posted and left alone.
But you're right. I shouldn't just single out his wife. I should post crap about Senator Sanders as well.
But people also post crap about former President Bill Clinton and tie it to HRC as well.

This is worthy discussion.

(12,958 posts)No should it be anymore relevant than gossip crap made up to tie Clinton to
Wall Street Banksters.

(14,923 posts)I recall posting an article about JEB's wife Columba Bush who was 'detained and fined by federal customs officials for misrepresenting the amount of clothing and jewelry she had bought while on a solo five-day shopping spree in Paris'.
Skinner posted on my thread that it was agreed or understood that candidate spouses should be off limits throughout this election cycle......
KMOD
(7,906 posts)Made up crap about HRC is not off limits.
AgingAmerican
(12,958 posts)So you admit you are trying to smear Sanders.
Integrity much?
KMOD
(7,906 posts)But since you mention it, why is Hillary Clinton considered the same mind as her husband, but Bernie Sanders is not the same mind as his wife?
Double standard?

(57,349 posts)I know I have waking dreams but this is getting ridiculous.
Again, if you don't like it when others use unfair tactics against your candidate then protest - loudly, call for reason, post and rec the hell out of positive threads, do whatever it takes but by attacking the families of candidates you're going to destroy your own credibility.

(8,730 posts)when you run for president, everything will be scrutinized, including your family. Bernie will be no exception.

(9,204 posts)Students at Burlington College voiced frustration and outrage last week over the recent dismissal of a popular literature professor, prompting an emergency meeting of the colleges Board of Trustees.
At Fridays marathon, five-hour session, students demanded that the board implement significant policy reforms, including the adoption of a formal grievance policy for faculty and staff and more checks and balances on the colleges president. They also requested partial tuition reimbursement for students whose classes were disrupted by the dismissal of the professor, Genese Grill.
The meeting, most of which was conducted behind closed doors, brought to a boil a controversy thats been simmering for months at the tiny liberal-arts college overlooking Lake Champlain. In September, representatives of the Student Government Association (SGA) began meeting with students, faculty and staff about what they described as a toxic and disruptive environment on campus, which they blame on Burlington College President Jane OMeara Sanders.
Seventy-four of the colleges 170 students and 11 faculty and staff signed a petition calling for the emergency meeting and expressing the view that theres a crisis in leadership at the school.

(9,688 posts)Informed discussions of politicians and their families should happen, and this is just information pertinent to informed discussion.
I say the same thing about any politician, US politician, Canadian politician, Russian politician, Saudi politician, or whatever.
So you want to protect politicians from scrutiny, even when some of them openly brag about expecting to raise billions to promote their political candidacy?

(336 posts)Dr. Sanders retired as president of Burlington College in the fall of 2011. In recognition of her many accomplishments, the college bestowed upon her the title of President Emerita, until now, a distinction only given to the colleges founder.

I had nothing but respect for Ms Clinton during the Lewinsky debacle. And her husband's flat out disrespect for her has absolutely nothing to do with her competency as a chief executive.

Really? This is no more fair than people making Hillary eat what Bill did while president. If she did not weigh in on it she is not accountable for it.
