Bernie Sanders SPEAKS With Katie Couric - FULL INTERVIEW

Share with Friends..........

Bernie Sanders says he isn’t running for president to push Hillary Clinton further to the left nor to become a candidate for vice president on a potential Clinton ticket.

“No,” Sanders told Yahoo News’ Katie Couric on Monday. “My goal is to win this election.”

In a wide-ranging interview, the Vermont independent senator and Democratic presidential hopeful said he is running because someone needs to stand up for the middle class.

“There are millions and millions of people who are tired of the establishment politics and corporate greed who are going to lead the mass movement in this country,” Sanders said.

“Would she be interested in being my vice president?” he replied. “We may be outspent, but I think we’ve got a good shot to win this thing.”

about Bernie's age along with all the cheap wisecracks.....

Bernie answered every question Katie posed to him and he never once wavered, hem, hawed or stalled his response. He was sharper than a tack half his age.....

Good for him......

I got to it and really enjoyed it. There were some things I did not know and had wondered about so it was a really good listen.

hard questions; he welcomes them, and takes them head on, rather than prevaricating.

I notice that he again, repeatedly, refused to bite when she tried to lure him into attacking Clinton.

I think if we can get him to enough people, if enough will pay attention, he's going to win.

(Democrats, Independents and Republicans) and appreciate that for once, a political candidate stands by his word not to participate with producing attack ads against their opponents.

Katie Couric did try to bait Bernie into attacking Clinton but he didn't bite and smoothly steered away from responding.

I believe people will give Bernie a second thought once they hear him passionately speak about issues he truly believes are some of the core problems we face today.
