That get personal. I've been called "fringe left", "not a true Democrat" and my favorite, "leftist extemist" by several Hillary supporters.

I have seen a few Bernie supporters go after Hillary supporters, but it's few and far between.

With the rash of recent alerts and thread hides, along with one very public banning, coupled with the fact that the owner is openly supporting a candidate - it's obvious who is and is not welcome here.

It's just that Hillary supporters don't recognize the anti-Bernie posts for what they are.

The Bernie can't win posts.

The Bernie "wrote about rape fantasies" posts. (He wrote about a the confusion in the reactions of both women and men to women's liberation in the 1970s and how the submissive role of women was changing.)

There are lots of similar posts. It's just natural that many Hillary supporters see them as telling the truth and don't realize that they are just unwarranted attacks on Bernie.

What I mean is the context with the word hater is usually applied to people with a lot of criticisms or oppose. It is hard to explain but not simply because I have room for hate but more has to do with my massive amount of empathy I have for others around the world and a lot of the decisions or foreign relations, especially with weapons sales, double standards in terms of who we (especially her) support or oppose is more than an abstract to me where I'm just mostly very depressed with occasional anger but pretty much depressed. Sanders is I see the light at the end of the tunnel. but with Clinton would be a doubling down of our usual foreign policy

On edit -- it isn't personal when it comes Clinton or any politician really.

in itself is a sensitive subject for everyone.

but the op left a post and without explanation just called out Bernie as being someone who hasn't done anything for people of color. it's similar to baiting. basically just "I'll just leave this here and watch people go nuts over it"

I felt my reply of facts and information was better than just calling the op ridiculous. and I encourage others to spread these facts rather than just insult each other.

this is a forum for action and political truths. we are here to benefit our party together. fighting amongst ourselves and smearing one another is exactly what Bernie and myself are against.

also lol at stereotyping me for being new. sometimes new members join this site and have the expectation that it's for discussing things amongst like minded people! thanks for sharing this with me Peggy.

Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Dear alerter: please stop alerting. YOU make DU suck. Put on your big girl panties and realize that not everyone gets moist at the idea of St. Clinton, the Anointed One. Learn to deal with the fact that people will often disagree with you. That, in and of itself, does not warrant a hide. For the sake of all future juries in the next 24 hours, I hope this is kept 0-7 so that you have to sit out these terrible moments for an entire day.

Please explain it to me like I'm a six year old how you find the misogynistic imagery that equates support for a woman candidate with a woman lubricating for sex laudable?

Thank you in advance.

P.S. I would have voted to leave it alone too, albeit not for misogynistic reasons.

Sat Jun 6, 2015, 03:15 PM
Jun 2015

Meanwhile President Obama continues to create hundreds of thousands of real jobs, not summer jobs, every month:

from: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/percent-664848-year-jobs.html

Obama is also trying to get the US to ratify the TPP which will create even more thousands of new export production jobs and Bernie is campaigning against it. So where does that put Bernie re actually creating jobs? Below the flatline basically.

Canada and Mexico are included in the TPP signatories and that was NAFTA:

As of 2014, twelve countries throughout the Asia Pacific region have participated in negotiations on the TPP: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States, and Vietnam.

Incidentally China has recently signaled a willingness to join TPP, per the Chinese press.

to know if there was an option to alert on the alert. I'll look more carefully next time.

As long as alerts are anonymous, though, you'll probably keep getting alerted on for everything and anything, and called whatever vile name folks feel like calling you. Perhaps, though, they could take a half step forward, and make it so that alerts that fail 7-0 are made public, so we can see just who is making the most outrageous alerts out there. Wouldn't have helped in this case, but it would be a tiny, incremental step forward.
