They're about 8 weeks now, all healthy and have had their first set of shots...the long-haired black one still needs some work, but the other black and the tabby are friendly...the tabby is definitely the dominant one. I found them a week after I found this little girl, Ella.
She is ridiculously sweet and brave, and I decided one more won't hurt...and for a week I tried finding any other littermates who might have made it, but couldn't find any, decided there were none, then found the three boys on the 8th day. Keeping Ella is fine...that puts me back up to 10 since India passed, but I can't do 13. I'm in Vegas if you know of anyone, and since it's kitten season, all the adoption groups are full, so I'm trying on my own...thanks.

(111,267 posts)but I'm not in the best health and I'm terrified of outliving a companion animal who would then have nowhere to go. Uh-uh, not going to risk it.

(40,656 posts)I have two of those and two rescue dogs. I fear not outliving them too. They are lovely. Kick for the three.

(56,177 posts)Clearly the alpha...eats first, has no fear...he'll be a great cat but he'll battle with my one alpha male and I don't want to have that happen!

(81,298 posts)We have four already, and one dog. We're pretty much topped out for now. I'd take every stray if I could.
But hopefully the ol' internets will be of help!

(34,111 posts)but I can't have. 4 males inside, one feral that I feed outside and 2 Standard Poodles in the house. If it was just me here I would take them all but then I think I might have a little pet hoarder in me so I have to watch it.
Adorable and thank you for doing so much for the kittens.

(32,062 posts)and be a foster parent for now? I don't know how cat rescues work - I'm allergic I do work with local Labrador rescue though and various people will foster for them until homes can be found.
ETA - with the Lab group at least if you register with them they can often get a discount on Vet fees etc.
