Rachel Maddow just wasted her show

Nothing about the McKinney pool party raid.

I like Maddow, but she blew it.

minutes on an old prison break. Must go with all of the BULL prison shows. I am sorry I had to flip the channel, not watchable tonight.

I almost reached for a notebook, since the details of the old escape were right of improbable but true. The kind of things you write in a novel and the lead editor will send back going, NAHHH this could not happen.

Maybe since I spend way too much time on actual policy (right now with the presser with the chargers), things like that are just plain out funny to me, and her research team is very good to find those improbable details.

I prefer longer content about the recent story. Most news accounts are about 30 seconds and that is it.

Sometimes (okay, most of the time) it's nice to get a break from the same stories repeated verbatim one show to the next. I actually like it that she pays as much attention to the back page as to the front above the fold, might be why she's more comprehensive than others. Or not. Whatever, she's always a welcome breath of air.
