They showed a clip of Old Man McCain criticizing the President for not having a strategy.
But, what is the GOP strategy?
More boots on the ground. More war. More American deaths. That is not a strategy either. That is only a continuation of the disastrous Bush strategy of invading Iraq and dissolving Saddam's army.
Joe wasn't too keen on talking about Rumsfeld's comments over in Europe but preferred to talk about Obama's failure to have a "strategy".
The stupid really hurts sometimes...

Which is why it was necessary for us to leave. The Iraqis have to figure it out and our military force can not be the primary mechanism.

(111,098 posts)that pointed out that "war is messy" and that there is not a simple military solution to the problem. But Joe was in zombie mode and kept coming back to Obama's lack of strategy.

(12,504 posts)any long term strategy would be based on Iraq's own policies and strategies. They have none. Therefore the USA has nothing on which to base it's cooperative strategies.
