‘He should be drug-tested, then fired’

As civic organizations meet with officials in McKinney, Texas to discuss a local police officer’s attack against black teenagers at a pool party, the father of a teenage girl allegedly involved in the incident has called for the officer to lose his job.

“I’m not disrespecting the entire police department, because I saw some people doing the right thing, trying to keep the matter right,” Jahi Adisa Bakari said at a press conference on Monday. Bakari accused the officer, Eric Casebolt, of pushing his 13-year-old daughter during the encounter on Friday.

“This guy was out of control,” Bakari said. “He should be drug-tested, then fired. He shouldn’t keep his job, and I’m not gonna stop until he is fired.”

Let's just say I personally know/am related to a few LEOs and this is a great idea...quite a few supplement their workouts, shall we say.

Mister Police Officer would have been just fine.

The drugs made him do it.

Sure they did.

What a piss-poor excuse for bad behavior. I'm perpetually disgusted by our society's re-direction of responsibility from the person to some nebulous thing.

suit to the ground.

I even read the inserts, and there is no warning about racism being a side effect. Some other stuff, but nothing about hating people after.

So I am skeptical...

But when Larry Wilmore showed the clip of that officer's ridiculous barrel roll last night on his show, I could not stop laughing.

I could have watched that clip and Larry's reaction to it for the entire program. So many lol's.

And I think this dad has the situation summed up perfectly.

I've seen the clip several times and I just assumed he tripped in his excitement to get to the action. If he did do a deliberate barrel roll (AKA - Chuck Norris and other action figures) then the guy definitely has mental issues.

I do, too. He is so good at putting shame exactly where it belongs. I thought his show last night was really good.

However, I do find myself trying to count how many dimples there are on Larry's face. I don't think I have ever seen a man with so many dimples.

I wish he could spend more time with some of his guests (without cutting his opening segment). That would mean a longer show.

and likely that of others. Pressure must be put on the 'higher ups' in his department, and others, to not tolerate this, and to INSIST on a return to civil behavior.
