Whole Foods does not deserve

our business.
A friend who has worked full-time at a Seattle Whole Foods for 14 years has been informed that full-time workers will be changed to part-time. Not only that, they will have to work irregular and possibly unpredicatable schedules.
Is this happening all over the country?

It sounds like this company has turned into an MBA test tube with workers being pushed to the lowest rung possible. They are trading on a concept of being healthy, hip, and happening while pushing their workers into poverty.

Screw 'em.

Back in 2009 or so, and I think they always were quite Republican.

Won't shop there.

Looked him up and he is a free-market libertarian who loves Ayn Rand. That explains a lot - he is of the elite and the workers are nothing.
I hope union organizers get in there. A few supervisors (5) have quit rather than do this to their co-workers.

one time recently. I like it because I want to avoid foods with preservatives as much as possible. Maybe there is an alternative in my area though. No excuse for treating workers that way. Sounds like they want to undermine the the health law.

I used to go there years ago, when I lived in another state. They had some good products. But now I know how badly they treat their workers, I'll have to try a different place.
