our business.
A friend who has worked full-time at a Seattle Whole Foods for 14 years has been informed that full-time workers will be changed to part-time. Not only that, they will have to work irregular and possibly unpredicatable schedules.
Is this happening all over the country?
It sounds like this company has turned into an MBA test tube with workers being pushed to the lowest rung possible. They are trading on a concept of being healthy, hip, and happening while pushing their workers into poverty.
Screw 'em.

Looked him up and he is a free-market libertarian who loves Ayn Rand. That explains a lot - he is of the elite and the workers are nothing.
I hope union organizers get in there. A few supervisors (5) have quit rather than do this to their co-workers.
