Bachelor Lindsey Graham promises a 'rotating first lady'

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/06/lindsey-graham-rotating-first-lady-bachelor-president-118783.html

Unmarried Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham says that if he becomes president, he will have a “rotating first lady.”

“Well, I’ve got a sister. She could play that role if necessary,” the 59-year-old South Carolinian presidential hopeful told Daily Mail Online in an interview published Tuesday. “I’ve got a lot of friends. We’ll have a rotating first lady,” he added.

His sister, Darline Graham Nordone, resides in South Carolina with her husband and two daughters from previous marriages, suggesting that she would not be able to be in Washington all the time.

Historically, in the absence of a FLOTUS, daughters, sisters and other female relatives have filled the role.

A rotating first lady --
* on a spit
* girl friends in and out on a monthly basis
* boy friends in and out on a monthly basis

Do not know his sister, but probably a good choice. She could fly up when needed. Good experience for her daughters.

RNC wives will probably be competing to fill in.

Sorry. My brain went nutz on the rotating thing.

I'm certain various social secretaries and the like of whatever gender could fill the need.

There are plenty of valid reasons to oppose the Senator from South Carolina sitting in the Oval Office.

I mean, fact of the matter, single is single, no obligation to have a first lady or man.

These guys really don't hear themselves talking do they??

Well, nothing other than the fact that Lindsey Graham would be President.

If I were elected President, I'd be in need of a first lady solution as well.

Attention single people on DU: YOU are not qualified, and it would be funny to everyone else if you had aspirations for public office.

Attention people with undisclosed gender identity on DU: YOU are not qualified, and it would be funny to everyone else if you had aspirations for public office.

Lindsay Graham is an obnoxious politician, with obnoxious stands on the issues. Is criticizing him on those grounds not enough, or do you need to attack aspects of his humanity shared by many others who do not have obnoxious political opinions?
