That their right to discriminate against minorities and woman is technically no longer allowed. (Not that that stops them)

They might as well tattoo their foreheads with the words proud bigot.

their discrimination.

Doncha see, you have to tolerate their hatefulness! Its mind boggling but you see this exact same rhetoric trotted out whenever some hideous discriminatory (usually religiously based) act comes up for discussion. It happens on DU frequently, even long time DUers launch into this (latest episode I saw on DU was the thread about the team that decided to forfeit their championship baseball game rather than play against a team with a girl).

Might as well accept it if it doesn't morph into violence and move on. It's then their problem and not mine.

But some feel the only way they can have religious freedom is to deny that freedom from others.

in your private, tax subsidized club called the church.

The instant you use the State, or allow it to be used, to discriminate against me, you and the State have committed a crime.

The sooner you understand that, the better.

(not directed at Swede, but at the stupids who feel they are being discriminated against when equality is supposedly constitutionally protected for all).

which is the turn it around. Now they are the victims of discrimination, yeah right - LOL

Another ploy that they do is the total amnesia thingy (Scott Walker comes to mind) and if that doesn't work, shove it off by saying it was prank. Or never happend like that cause it was out of fun, wasn't bad at all shit. If that don't work, blame it on someone else.

Yea see, bullies NEVER take responsibility. Doesn't it sound like the present GOP party of no?

if any *legal scholars* in their camp can point out to the rest of us where this so-called "right-to-discriminate" can be found............in the Constitution? After all, the keep telling us that "x, y, or z" is not explicitly in the Constitution, so it is not legal, permitted, or can be curtailed, etc.

Seriously, though, it is odd to me exactly how having a "right-to-discriminate" is a good thing or a "Christian" thing to want? It blows my mind that some people have enough time and energy to WANT TO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to hurt other people? What kind of "life" do these people have anyway?
