...... whom I never met in person, but just had that great DU connection with. Seems like we were of the same mind on just about everything -- from Howard Zinn to Angela Davis.
You will truly be missed my friend. I'll see you in the Leftist Afterlife man!

(3,247 posts)Same age, same neck of the woods, fellow gay man... it is not out of the question that he is someone I had encountered in person in the pre-DU era. "Angels unaware?"-- in any case he was a fine DUer and I bless his memory.

I resonated with everything you both have ever posted, and appreciate you both so much.

(15,021 posts)One of the best we ever had on this board.
I have not thought about him in a while, or seen him for a while.
One of my personal favorites, entirely for selfish reasons. It seemed like I could almost always count on Xchrom to rec one of my OPs. I think he also posted quite a bit about poverty.
Thanks for posting this.

(31,893 posts)xchrom and you were/are two DUers whose posts I've always rec'd. And I regret that I haven't shown my appreciation more actively. I stepped back from posting some years ago, but losing xchrom has made me realize that I really need to let my favorite DUers know that I truly appreciate what they do.
And I'm happy to start with you. I want you to know that every time I see an OP by you, I am so grateful that you're here and doing the wonderful work that you do!
