Hillary Sounds Like Bernie at Campaign Launch (link to transcript)

http://www.vox.com/2015/6/13/8776067/hillary-clinton-transcript-campaign-launch

Except she's ight on substance. No specifics. Invocation of FDR.

I noticed she wanted to change the tax code for investors.... That got me a little worried. What does she mean specifically? Lower capital gains?

Says she'll have specifics in a few weeks....

Looks like Bernie's had a strong impact on Hillary already. Can't wait til she endorses him

PS - could not cut and paste on my phone.

not the same as HC's. Both do outline the same problems that the next President will face, but the solutions are far apart. Bernie has specifically said that he needs to raise taxes on the very rich and the mega corporations to rebuild America and elevate all to middle class. Hillary says it's okay to be rich and she danced around some suspiciously bootstrappy ways of helping Americans rise above poverty but wouldn't say where she would get those taxes. Anyway, I need to read Hillary's speech again to make sure I understood it right, but offhand that's how it came across to me.

but she should already have specifics by now, not in a few weeks.

Bernie already has specific policy positions that has always been light-years ahead of Clinton

TRIGGER WARNING: HILLARY PUTDOWN AHEAD

She now has to get her 200 advisors to analyze the reaction of her speech, and see what they liked, and didn't like at the most.

Then set up focus groups to to tweak her stump speech and make her practice on it to be more folksy and human.

END TRIGGER WARNING

She's trying to steal his wind but it won't work because she doesn't have the long track record Bernie does. All her crap is calculated.
