Yahoo! Chase that sword and fall on it.

So, the head guy at Yahoo! bagged it over resume puffery. Naturally, he blamed the outplacement company that helped him get the job after his last bout of unemployment.

Meanwhile, over in the Bankster Bar, JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says "Whoops! We fucked up" as he "took responsibility" for bullshitting about that little $2B loss they took. Jamie says they owned it, but he wasn't owning the blame. That honor went to his chief investment officer, who resigned after 30+ years. I imagine a soft landing for her. Boo Fucking Hoo. But geez, Jamie, some leader you are. Paying someone to take the fall for the fuckup that happened on YOUR watch.

Doesn't "taking responsibility" usually mean you fall on your own sword.

Jamie Dimon: Scumbag of The Week.

I'm not in tech, but many of my friends are and the sheer arrogance of that swine dummying up his qualifications and cutting their workforce while collecting a salary while many are out shopping around resumes makes me want to whack something. Nonliving, of course.
