(10,538 posts)I wish we could organize people to show up at campaign events with 2 signs, 1 with the latest total for how much money the candidate raised, and 2, a question, "What do you have to do for that money?"
He will be missed!

(18,791 posts)I just sent a simple sentence of my condolences (for JPR)...in the OP of the notice of his passing, there is a link to the mortuary, where you can send such.
Long term DUer's might have more to share with his family.
Did I miss any of the same for Xchrom?
It's a very sad week.

(13,746 posts)his family took home to California were he was from. No service in N.C. There may have been a mermorial for him by his friends in N.C.

(52,589 posts)I have busy going through a housing demolition due to water damage. To have to come back and see their passing is tough. I remember a while back, someone asked me about Xchrom (where was he since I probably live 20 miles from he did). I had no idea it would lead to news he passed. And now, JackpineRadical. Sad.

(107,961 posts)One of my coworkers in real life died of a heart attack a few weeks ago - it was really sudden and unexpected, and it's been really quiet where I work. This is definitely not something that's easy to deal with here or in real life.

There aren't any words for how very sorry I feel right now.

(2,150 posts)to educate and stimulate us.
They were both favorites of mine and I will never forget them.
In honor of JackpineRadical, I have adopted his minimalist graphic redition of Bernie.
May they both haunt our souls for as long as we live.

Note: I tried to make JackPineRadical's "I'm for the fringe" image my signature in my profile, but it doesn't seem to take. It did work once for the first try, but not with the second post. When I saw the preview for the second post it was missing. I had entered the URL from one of MadFloridian's posts to my profile for the sig for the first one, but it only worked once...and now I had to do the same thing for this post. Anyone willing to teach me how to make it permanent?
