Iowa open-carry nut gunned down mall worker who filed sexual harassment complaints against him

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by TexasTowelie (a host of the General Discussion forum).

An Iowa mall cop — with a Facebook account loaded with open-carry and right-wing memes and photos of multiple weapons — is under arrest for shooting and killing a fellow mall worker because she filed sexual harassment complaints against him.

According to The Gazette, Alex Kozak was taken into custody after shooting 20-year-old Andrea Farrington three times in the back while she was at work at the Iowa Children’s Museum in the Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville, Iowa.

Police say that the 22-year-old Kozak left the mall and went to his home and retrieved a 9mm Glock handgun before retuning and shooting Farrington late Friday night..

KCJJ reports that a cousin of Farrington’s said that Kozak had been harassing the victim for at least six weeks and that she had complained to his superiors about unwanted advances he had made toward her.

1. Can't mess with gun fanciers' rights, no matter how many Andreas get killed.

People have a right to self defense. Nobody has a right to alcohol. So let's go for it. Think of all the crime you could end by banning booze.

5. It isn't. Not any more than alcohol-fueled domestic violence constitutes a marital relationship.

People misusing/abusing a thing does not abrogate the rights of those who have legitimate cause.

7. Yet somehow we're supposed to believe banning guns will end crime.

Criminals do not cease to prey upon people. They will either acquire their weapons illegally or they will move on to other means. Gun bans don't turn violent monsters into sociable kittens because the gun was never the motivator.

to make me sick. A bunch of open-carry wackadoodles were blaming the mall "gun-free zone" for the occurrence of this crime, and some went so far as to blame the victim for not carrying a gun herself!

SHE WAS SHOT IN THE BACK!!! How was she supposed to "duel" with this cretin?
